This involves the design and development of exclusive and original objects and then the supervision of their production by NIYONA. The process of ordering a custom-made piece:
A first meeting: We organise a first meeting to understand the needs, expectations and desires. Then we translate the wishes into sketches and concepts with an immediate and instinctive understanding which makes NIYONA unique in the luxury leather goods sector. Then we suggest a selection of leather hides and accessories adapted to the demand. The choice of material can also be the starting point of the realisation.
Creation of a mock-up or a drawing: The first sketches are transformed into tangible volumes or more detailed drawing(s), taking into account the technical feasibility of shapes and the choice of materials. The patronage is developed with good volumes and details of finishes. The studio creates a creative suggestion, the result of a careful reflection and thorough research, ensuring that it needs and concerns are fully taken into account.
Validation and modifications: During a second appointment, NIYONA presents the mock-up or drawings to the customers. In order to satisfy them fully with a piece of leatherwork of their choice, NIYONA’s craftsmen make the necessary modifications on the patterns.
Creation of the object from beginning to end: Our artisans prepare the selected leather; working in partnership with local tanneries offering high quality skins, NIYONA chooses leather that meet the wishes of its clientele, offering a range as wide as personalised. This allows NIYONA to monitor variations in textures and adapt the finish if needed. After cutting and skiving, the pieces of leather can be assembled, sewn and finished by our craftsmen. After the polishing, the customer can discover the finished product, entirely made to measure.

For their creation, customers can also select leather goods and accessories available from the rich and varied NIYONA collection. Forming the starting point for the customization of new products, combining functionality and creative flair. In this case, the emphasis is on the development of a distinctive product, for creations echoing the aesthetic codes and creative values of NIYONA. Following the selection of the model, the customer is free to choose : the leather (cow, fish or exotic) colours, linings, jewellery, finishes, hot stamp. The client can adapt the configuration of the handles or inside the bag.
